HOW YOU CAN HELP

Perhaps you may no longer be able to keep up with the better young match  or specimen anglers. but you can always enjoy getting out in the fresh air,  having a chat with the lads and catching the odd specimen  or winning the odd match,  Perhaps more importantly acting  as a secretary, treasurer, committee member, bailiff,  qualified  junior angling coach  or other official, using the knowledge and experience that  you have gained through your  years of angling to assist the  management of your club or Association.

I have enjoyed completing the Institute of Fishery Management Qualifications (Certificate and Diploma), attending Angling Trust Coaching Courses (levels 1 and 2), acting as Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Committee Member, Bailiff and Junior Coach and would like to thank the Institute of Fisheries Management, the Angling Trust and the staff from the Local Environment Agency for all their support during the past 20 years.

Improve y;ou fishery
Big roach from a well.managed fishery provides a feeling of satisfaction and of pride.

Double figure bream, to me;  always enjoyable to catch.

Think of ways you can get this same feel good factor by  putting something back into angling. Perhaps becoming a bailiff,  a coach, an  Association  Official or a  committee member. It can help both the Association  and yourself.
